    HOW HIGH IS YOUR HAT?

Sporting a Red Sail hat, Duncan Stewart stands overlooking the Everest Base Camp in the Himalayas at almost 18,000 feet above sea level and about 12,000 miles from Grand Cayman where he bought it! Duncan reported, "...the hat proved excellent headgear for the trip. Unfortunately it is now looking very well travelled!!"

We thank Duncan for acting as a Red Sail billboard. For his efforts, he'll receive a Gift Certificate for a new hat. If you have a photo of someone wearing RSS clothing in a far-fetched location, please send it to us, c/o info@redsail.com

    HOW DEEP IS YOUR LOVE?

Sanjeep wanted his girlfriend, Amy, to enjoy what he likes doing best, so he enrolled her in a one-day Discover Scuba Diving Course in Aruba. Amy didn't have the faintest idea that he had more in store for her. Sanjeep then almost took her breath away when he proposed to her at a depth of 25 feet, with the question "Will you marry me?" written on a slate. Amy was then given another slate with one side "Yes" and the other "No". With his heart pumping in expectation, Amy showed him the slate with "Yes!" Sanjeep then drew the wedding ring out of his BCD and carefully slipped the ring on her finger. Any guesses where their honeymoon will be celebrated??

    RED SAIL SPORTS GRAND CAYMAN

Marion Jones and Tim Montgomery Take The Plunge!

Marion Jones, the first female track and field athlete to win five medals at a single Olympics (in Sydney, 2000 Summer Games), and her partner, Tim Montgomery, the reigning men's 100M world record holder, have been training in the Cayman Islands for the 2004 indoor Track & Field season. Deemed the 'world's fastest couple', Jones and Montgomery took a break from their intensive workouts to test their sea lungs. The couple -- along with track star Anson Henry -- participated in an intimate dive class with Red Sail Sports instructor, David Koenigsberg.

    RED SAIL SPORTS HAWAII
As if living in a tropical paradise isn't enough, Hollywood has descended on The Big Island of Hawaii in a big way! For starters, NBC's "Average Joe 2" just wrapped up filming at the Hapuna Beach Prince Resort and ABC's "Extreme Home Make Over" show filmed recently at the Hilton Waikoloa Village. Then, the cast and crew of NBC's "Frazier" also chose the island for a little R&R after the filming of its last episode ever -- the 10th year season finale. Plus, TLC's "A Makeover Story" was filmed at the Hilton Waikoloa Village, as well. You just never know who you'll see when you're participating in a Red Sail Sports activity! (Note: Eddie the Dog was not eligible for the SASY Program, but was interested in the Bubblemaker Program.)

    RED SAIL SPORTS ARUBA

Red Sail Sports Aruba announces the Grand Opening of the new watersports facility at the Marriott Resort. The custom-designed facility is located right on the beach in front of the Marriott Surf Club and offers guests a convenient spot to book their watersport activities, from parasailing and catamarans, to renting a float or taking a Banana Boat ride.

RSS Aruba Celebrates its 15th Anniversary

Red Sail Sports is celebrating its 15th year of operations in Aruba!

In 1989, we said "Bonbini" when we opened our first retail store at the Hyatt Regency Resort. Today, it's still there. But Red Sail Sports is now better equipped to serve Aruba's active vacationers and locals with expanded dive and watersports centers, the island's most modern dive boats, and a fleet of four luxury catamarans.

"We're proud that Red Sail Sports is now Aruba's only PADI Gold Palm 5-Star Instructor Development Center," says Charmaine York, Red Sail Sports Aruba Sales & Marketing Manager. "Additionally, a third dive boat will be delivered soon to accommodate our growing dive department."

Red Sail Sports Aruba is located at the following resorts:

    • Hyatt Regency
    • Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino
    • Occidental Allegro
    • Renaissance
