A NEW DIVE BOAT IN ARUBA...Aptly named the 'Biba Bon' (to "live well" in Papiamento), she is a sister to their other Pro 48 dive boat, the 'Pasa Bon' ("to have a good time"). Known for its expansive cockpit, quality craftsmanship, incredible maneuverability and running characteristics, the Pro 48 is the industry's pre-eminent boat, elevating diving to a whole new level. Measuring 48 feet in length, and featuring a 16 foot beam, the Biba Bon boasts an open deck space to comfortably accommodate 30 divers. Read the full story.

RENAISSANCE RENOVATIONS COMPLETE...The Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino recently completed a $13 million dollar overhaul on its 559 rooms and suites. You'll find Red Sail Sports on Renaissance Island, a 40-acre tropical paradise featuring Aruba's only private beaches.

SHOP 'TILL YOU DROP...Shoppers on this tropical island have even more to celebrate. 'Island Life' is Aruba's 10th retail store and is now open at the Marriott Aruba Ocean Club on Palm Beach.

WINTER SEASON WHALE'S TALES...December through May is whale season in Hawaii and it's again in full swing. Every year at this time, humpback whales make the swim from Alaska to mate and breed in Hawaii's warm, shallow waters. "The depth and temperature of the water are what bring the whales to Hawaii during their breeding season," says Carl Williams, Red Sail Sports catamaran captain and a certified whale naturalist. "The shelf along the South Kohala coastline from Kona International Airport to Kohala," he continues, "is no deeper than 250 feet. The mothers (cows) have their babies (calves) here so they can protect them, monitor them, keep them near the coastline, and teach them how to breathe." Red Sail Sports offers Whale Watch Cruises daily. Call 877.RED.SAIL to book your sail before the whales swim away.

IN THE NEWS...Red Sail Sports Hawaii will be featured in the March issue of Food & Wine Magazine. The chefs from this popular periodical enjoyed a cruise along the Kohala Coast on our catamaran the 'Noa Noa'.
