Don’t let this week’s Outdoor Enthusiast Next Door, Gil Zeimer’s job as editor of Vagablond, an stylish blog dedicated to luxury travel, fool you. He can and will get down and dirty with the best of them. Gil has been scuba diving for over 20 years and has dived in Aruba, Australia, Belize, and Hawaii. And when he’s not underwater or writing advertising copy, he’s following his San Francisco Giants, sailing on SF Bay, golfing, or mountain hiking to the top of Half Dome in Yosemite National Park.

Part Two…
What influenced you to take this trip?
We wanted to combine a family vacation with the ability for me to take a few dives with a local tour operator. I chose Red Sail Sports, which has since become my favorite watersports company in Aruba, Grand Cayman, St. Kitts and Hawaii.
